Privacy policy
The Collector's Vault is operated by Collectors Vault Trading LLC. This policy covers what we collect when you buy from https://www.collectorsvaulttrading.com, why we collect it, who handles it for us, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Name, so we can address the package and the email.
- Email address, for the order confirmation and the shipping notice.
- Phone number, when you give one, so the carrier can reach you.
- Shipping address, and a billing address when your card issuer sends one.
- Order history: what you bought, what you paid, and the status of each order.
- Your agreement to the terms of sale, with the wording version and a timestamp.
- Your newsletter choice, when you check that box, with the wording and a timestamp.
We never see or store your card number. Payment details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout page and never reach our servers.
Why we collect it
We use your name, address and phone number to ship your order, your email address to send order email you asked for, your card details (through Stripe) to take payment, and your order history to answer questions, handle returns and keep tax records. We don't build advertising profiles, and we run no behavioral tracking.
Who processes it for us
- Stripe, to take payment and calculate tax where that is switched on.
- Resend, to deliver order email.
- Vercel, to serve this website.
- Neon, to host the database the orders are stored in.
- EasyPost and USPS, to buy postage and hand over the delivery address.
Each one gets only what its job needs. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone, and we share it outside this list only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for 7 years, because tax rules ask us to. Consent records are kept for 3 years, so we can show which wording you agreed to. Newsletter suppression records are kept until you ask us to delete them, so an unsubscribe keeps working.
Your choices
To see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold, email collectorsvaulttrading@gmail.com from the address you ordered with and we will answer within 30 days. We may keep the parts of an order record that tax law requires us to keep, and we will tell you when that applies. Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal address.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only: one session cookie for the owner's admin login. Your cart is held in your own browser's local storage, not on our servers. We load no advertising or analytics scripts, so there is no consent banner to click.
Sale of personal information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no "Do Not Sell" request to make.
State privacy law
We operate from Michigan, which has no general consumer privacy statute. Where a state law such as the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to a visitor, the rights described under "Your choices" are the ones we honor for everyone, and we do not meet the thresholds that would require a data broker registration.
Children
This store is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If a child has sent us information, email collectorsvaulttrading@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the text on this page and the date below.
