Accessibility statement

The Collector's Vault is operated by Collectors Vault Trading LLC. Our target is WCAG 2.2 AA on every page of this store, including the cart, the checkout hand-off and the order status page.

What we have done

  • One h1 per page, real landmarks, and a skip link to the main content.
  • Every control has a visible label and a visible focus ring.
  • Body text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, large text and interface edges meet 3:1.
  • Every product photo has alt text written by the owner, not generated.
  • Menus, drawers and the photo lightbox work from the keyboard, trap focus while open and close on Escape.
  • Cart and filter changes are announced to screen readers.
  • Motion respects the reduced-motion setting in your operating system.
  • Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.

We do not use an accessibility overlay widget. Overlays do not fix the underlying markup and they get in the way of real assistive technology.

Known limitations

  • Photographs of graded items show the grade printed on the label. The grade is also in the text of the page, so it is never image-only information.
  • Long specification tables scroll sideways on a narrow phone screen.
  • Pages the owner writes themselves depend on the owner writing good headings and alt text. The admin requires alt text on every photo.
