Terms of sale

These terms apply to every order placed with The Collector's Vault, operated by Collectors Vault Trading LLC, at https://www.collectorsvaulttrading.com. By checking the box at checkout, you agree to this version of them.
What you are buying
Every listing is a single item, photographed as it is. When an item sells, the listing stays up marked sold, so the record of the sale is public. Stock counts on the page are the real counts.
Prices and taxes
Prices are in US dollars and the price shown for an item is the whole price of that item. Shipping is added at checkout and shown before you pay. No sales tax is collected at this time; you may owe use tax in your own state.
Authenticity and grading
Grades and certification numbers are quoted from the grading service named on the item. Photographs show the exact item you receive.
Grades and certification numbers belong to the grading service named on the listing, not to us. Where that service publishes a verification page we link to it so you can check the number before you buy. If an item does not match its listing, tell us and we will take it back and refund it in full.
Payment
Stripe takes the payment on its own hosted page. Your card details never touch our servers. We charge when you pay, and we ship after the payment clears.
Processing and delivery
Orders are packed and handed to the carrier by the end of the next business day. If we cannot ship in that time we email you with a new date and an offer to cancel for a full refund.
Returns
You can return an eligible item within 14 days of delivery. The returns and refunds page has the detail.
Problems with an order
If something is wrong, email collectorsvaulttrading@gmail.com before you file a chargeback. We answer within one business day, and we'd rather fix the order than argue with your bank. A chargeback filed without contacting us first costs us the fee and slows down your refund.
Cancellation by us
We may cancel an order and refund it in full when an item turns out to be unavailable, when the price or description was wrong, or when we cannot verify the shipping address. We tell you why.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts sitting in Wayne County, Michigan, and both of us agree to that venue.
Changes
We may change these terms for future orders. The version that applies to your order is the version you agreed to at checkout, which we store with your order.
